the charming of Bukit Tangkiling

Hello all, primboncindy want to share a little story about the charm of Borneo or Kalimantan island. But for this time primboncindy just talking about Bukit Tangkiling. Many people are still don’t know about the charm of Bukit Tangkiling.so, Primboncindy will share information about it.

Bukit Tangkiling located at Tjilik Riwut street  kilometers 32. To get there, we can use car or motorcycle. Takes about 45 minutes. Bukit Tangkiling is a hill that was filled with trees. Bukit Tangkiling is about 500m in high. Bukit Tangkiling have some legend and magic.



not easy to climb Bukit Tangkiling as it seems. At first, there will be ladders . but for the next way, we will take the uphill and steep road. Moreover,  during the raining day the roads would be slippery and hard to climb. 
But when you are in the top of the hill, you will see beautiful scenery. From there, you can see how beautiful is Borneo jungle.
besides its beauty,Bukit Tangkiling has legend story. here is the story  :






Once upon a time, there was a young man named Tangkiling. He was a big merchant. He has a big ship. He used it for his wandering.  One day,  he stopped at the harbor, and go to seeing that place. Then, Tangkiling met a beautiful woman named Bawi Kuwu. Tangkiling fell in love with her, and so was she. So, it did not take a long time for them to decide to get married. 
The luxurious wedding party was held, and Tangkiling enjoyed  the good times with his wife . three months after the wedding, Tangkiling asked Bawi Kuwu to find head lice on his head. when Bawi kuwu see Tangkiling head, then he realized that Tangkiling was her son.
Tangkiling remembered the incident 35 years ago. At that time, the hungry little Tangkiling asked  for food to his mother, Bawi Kuwu. Tangkiling whining makes Bawi Kuwu lost patience. Then, Bawi Kuwu hit Tangkiling head until his head hurt. The poor Tangkiling was screaming in pain and ran to the harbor.
A merchant  that see tangkiling then invited him to go in his ship. Tangkiling luck was continued. He was appointed as a child and had a large ship until the tragedy  when Bawi Kuwu saw  Tangkiling head injured.
In short story, it's forbidden love cursed the gods, so Tangkiling turned into a stone, including his ship. The Ship which is now called Batu Banama is still on Bukit Tangkiling.
